MORE ABOUT OUR PEOPLE
Michael Constantine
With extensive brand and business leadership experience on both agency and client side, Michael has led marketing communications agencies and brands across categories and countries. Michael is an outcome-oriented leader whose major focus has been re-engineering company offerings to the changing market realities and needs.
Whether transforming domestic agencies into fully functioning marcomms operations capable of handling local and multinational clients as part of a global network (Leo Burnett Philippines

and McCann Worldgroup Malaysia), or aggressively building the reputation of the Prime Focus brand from a "garage start up " into a world leader in the visual entertainment services sector.
Now, as one of the founders of ‘A3A Agency for the Third Age’, Michael is determined to bring his leadership skills, global experience and restless energy to challenge the ageism pervasive in the ad industry and across society itself. Other than that, as a UK CAA qualified private pilot, Michael would one day like to fly a Spitfire. Or at least sit in one.

Richard Irvine
As a senior creative leader with a vast amount of experience across markets, categories and platforms, Richard has helped create and shape business building ideas for some of the world’s largest brands, including McDonald’s, Nestle, P&G, PETRONAS and Coke.
A proven track record of nurturing and retaining talent, the creative departments led and mentored by Richard have delivered a Cannes Grand Prix, a WEBBY, a Gold PR Lion, D&AD Pencils, Spikes, Crystal Orbs and all manner of weirdly shaped and named trophies.
Along the way, Richard was inducted into the Philippine 4A's Hall of Fame, the first foreigner to be honoured in such a way. Proof, if ever it were needed, that good things happen when you are totally driven and passionate about what you do.
As one of the founders, and the creative lead of A3A, Richard is now on a mission to apply what he's learned over the years to help clients unlock the potential in marketing to the Third Age consumer. The key? Acute insight, Empathy with a capital E and craft, craft, craft.

Hilary Woods
Hilary was born on a Sunday and is sure that has helped her make her way. Starting out as raw trainee at Saatchi & Saatchi, she has also enjoyed spells at Leo Burnett London, BBH and Ogilvy London - as well as running a global research company. She regards BBH as her alma mater, but met Richard and Michael while at Leo Burnett. Her proudest moments include having a Nat West pig named after her (Lady Hilary), being able to recite every word of Umbongo, meeting Eddie Kidd and Brad Pitt on separate Levis shoots and being part of the Ogilvy team that launched Dove's "Campaign for real beauty", globally.
In her most recent past she worked across all the business units of American Express, logging up 12 years as their strategic global agency lead.
During this time, she became fascinated by the abandonment of the Boomers in favour of millennials by marketeers, given both their influence and their financially deep pockets. She also feels the "tech" side of digital has created a smoke and mirrors effect that has left behind what really matters in marketing - understanding and satisfying the true needs of customers. Addressing these issues is Hilary's first order of business as she takes her place as the Insight and Strategy director at A3A.

Prior to any of this, Richard drove an ice cream van.

Simon Dodd
Simon has had just about as diverse a career in Marketing Communications as you can imagine.
Starting off life in a hot boutique agency in Newcastle (still the best city in the UK!) this led to 20 very successful years in London. Including time at HHCL, Partner at TBWA London and Managing Director of MBA. During this time Simon worked and led a huge range of client relationships, including Thomas Cook (D&AD winner), PlayStation, EDF (UK launch), Marie Curie Cancer Charity, amongst many others.
A young family prompted a move back to the regions and the role of CEO of a private Equity backed agency group located across the UK. It grew dramatically leading to its eventual sale to the Mission Group and a Board role within the PLC.
And now it's the turn of A3A. Has there ever been a more perfectly timed proposition? The size of the opportunity is huge. But the quality of insight and communication for this audience is woeful. Something that Simon is determined to address.
